The “Club” was initiated by the President of The House Designers, one of the 10 leading designers in the world, Larry James. Larry is one of the most celebrated residential designers in the industry recognized for his efficient, affordable and classically detailed home designs.
Launching The House Designers, an internet home plan company that offers consumers a means to purchase house plans directly by the designer, was just the beginning. Larry wanted to give consumers a resource to guide them through the home design and building process to make their dream homes a reality . He wanted to create a website that could share the plethora of information the 10 leading residential designers had at their fingertips from years of experience. A place that plan purchasers and website visitors could go to make the home building process easier, more cost efficient and less time consuming.
After months of research, customer surveys and lots of brainstorming, the Home Building Club was created. It has grown far beyond the initial conversations of offering consumers information to turn their house into a home, and will continue to grow and expand maintaining cutting-edge information in the ever changing area of residential products and services and home building techniques.
